Hello, please guide me regarding the best contraceptive method for long term. Is ANTRA injection safe for it? Or any other method? I already have a 1 year old baby and want to avoid the pregnancy for a long time

Antara injection is a safe contraceptive, administered to women who wish to avoid pregnancy. The contraceptive is effective for 3 months, and can be safely administered every 3 months if so desired. You may also consider the use of an intrauterine contraceptive device alternatively if you do not wish to use the injectable contraceptive. The success rate with this injectable contraceptive is 94 to 99%. Considering the safety and efficacy of this injection for contraception, it surely scores over the IUCD (intrauterine devices)

Discuss this with you wife, talk to her gynaecologists for additional information, and take a quick decision.
