Advent Forte and Vomit for 1 year kid

My 14 months son have Viral Fever and refered Advent forte syrup, every time I gave syrup he vomits. It happened all the three times I gave. Is it a concern and should I refer my pediatrician again or it's a know side effect of medicine.
