There are various treatment options for acne scars , PRP with subcision , PRP with microneedling , dermaroller , laser , also retinol peels in alternate sittings to give better results . Usually a set of treatments give better results than single treatments. It depends on how deep the scars are and which kind of scars they are . If u want to go for subcision only , multiple sitting will be required also the swelling and erythema is there for 4 to 7 days . Will suggest visit a skin specialist and a treatment plan that suits ur skin . Also a combined therapy will give u better results. Tx

Yes subcision as a procedure does give very good result in acne scars. But it also depends on the type of scars you have like rolling scars/ ice pick scars.. Etc It does not have very promising results in ice pick type of scars.
Next Steps
Also do it if you don't have active infection/ acne at present or taking oral retinoids.
Health Tips
It has a downtime of about 5-7 days. Donot go out in bright daylight without sunscreens.
