Though topical retinoid creams help to an extent, deep scars need to be treated with chemical peels, or procedures like needle subcision, laser.

Health Tips
skin care for acne:
Use gentle cleanser for washing face 2-3 times daily(as harsh cleansing can damage skin and increase infection of acne)
Apply moisturizer immediately after washing face, to retain moisture in skin as healthy skin needs it. (Moisture and oily skin is different)
After moisturizer, apply sunscreen during day time.
Use only NON-COMEDOGENIC sunscreen( as other sunscreen will block follicles and increase acne)

wash/change your towel every 2 days.
change your pillow cover every 5 days.
Do not frequently touch your face with hands.
DO NOT SQUEEZE the lesions, as it damages dermis of skin, causing DEEP SCARS AND PIGMENTATION, which is difficult to treat.
