I get a cut in my left hand thumb from sharp edge of tile (stone) I wash the cut , stop bleeding , apply dettol liquid on it and wrap a bandege around it. Even then i am worrying about it and it become more than 27 hours from injury. Can i still take a tetanus injection. Also i want to for how long remain effective against tetanus. Is there any vaccination which give long time prevention from tetanus.
