You have to count from the first day of you menses for calculation 9months 7days after that is your expected date For knowing if there is twin pregnancy you can do a sonography

Expected date of delivery can be calculated from the last menstrual periods if you have regular cycles.. Same goes with period of gestation.. However to know if you are carrying a singleton pregnancy or twins or triplets  you need to undergo an ultrasound..
