The passive phase of the treatment in which the retailers are to be worn is the only step of the Ortho treatment in which we are completely dependent upon the meticulous adherence to the instructions by the patient. Only because you have been negligent in that respect, the treatment has started to show relapse because the bone formation around the new position of the teeth has not been complete. Instead of trying to look for easy ways to fit the same retainers again (which is definitely not possible), you should contact your orthodontist for the evaluation of your current condition of the teeth. New retailers will have to be fabricated and they can at least maintain the position of the teeth in which they are currently. If you want those moments to be reversed, braces will have to be put up again for that purpose. Your orthodontist will definitely guide you about the feasibility of all the treatment options.
Regards.
