About baby feeding
Hello doctors,
My baby is 2.5 months old. He had little temperature 2 days before, it was not above 98 but he was little bit hot. Now he is fine. But since that day he is not taking enough brest milk. Just takes 2 min.he is passing 10-12 times urine 24 hrs.
But i dont understand why baby is not taking enough milk?
I visited to pediatrician he said after 2.5 months babies dont extra milk. But 2 min is enough? His weight is 6.4 nw.

From you description it looks like your baby is perfectly normal. Fever is when temp is more than 99 F. Secondly if your baby is exclusively on breastfeed and passing urine 10-12 times that’s an indication that baby is getting adequate milk. 6.4 kg is good weight for a 2.5 months baby. Regarding 2 mins of feeding- if you have adequate milk 5-10 mins feeding is adequate for baby. Don’t worry about time spend on feeding. If your baby is active passing adequate urine and doesn’t have any breathing difficulty , then nothing to worry about.
