Hello Doctors, I'm looking for the help as I do not have any idea. My dad's wisdom tooth was removed 1 year back and his mouth doesn't open properly from the last 2-3 years because he used to eat tobacco products 10 years back and used to drink a lot 25 years back. We are suspecting, the wound around the lower back mouth is a case of leukoplakia and might get cancerous. Our dentist is suggesting to get it checked by ENT specialist and get the biopsy done. I've a fear, what if it detects early stage cancer and I heard after Biopsy, the cancer starts spreading with lighting speed and within 15 days the petient gets into really worst situation. Is it true? Please help me with right guidance, what to do?
