I have a dark to brown patch just beside the meatus for about three months. I have a maniac disorder which results me to unfold the shaft for 8 to 10 times per day to see if I do have any untoward reaction to my penis. This resulted me to have balanitis once. I do feel that the brown patch is also from the same activity. At first I felt it was the remnant of a vein, but later it felt different. An online doctor made a remark that it is a melanosis. Can you opine,is it cancer of the skin, like melanoma or there is nothing to be worried about. Can frequent friction make the color of the glans skin brown or tan brown.
