I had an abscess in my throat a few days ago that was drained through a needle and I’m much better now just taking the antibiotic Clindamycin and I was wondering if smoking would mess the with antibiotics or if smoking could possibly make my infection come back or anything like that. I’m just a little paranoid and would love some advice

You seem to have had peritonsillar abscess which was aspirated and now you are on antibiotics. Smoking reduces local immunity of your throat and definitely it can be reason for recurring peritonsillar abscess. My advise is to avoid smoking till doctor says so
