4 month baby has fever

My neice who is 4 months old having fever since last two days. Her head becomes too warm compare rest of body. She has been crying due to teething put finger in gums and cry like cat sound. And now fever started. What to do.. And she also sleep less since birth . Arround 6-7 hours in night and then sleep for 1 hour and awake and so on.. She is passing urine well also poops well. But fever is there and gums are tightening

Firstly , temperature should be checked with a thermometer to know if she is running fever . Generally the forehead remains warm in babies due to high metabolic rate . So just feeling of warmth may not be sufficient to say she has fever . If temperature is more than 100 F she should be given Paracetamol . Dosage will depend on her weight which is not mentioned
