4 month baby doing sound

My son is 4 month old and he would not cry for hunger or milk but makes just some sucking sound with mouth. Even when he is not hungry will make that sound in sleep. Is this normal to ask for hunger with out crying.

If gaining weight then no problem get his ear checked BERA TEST
