Why was the X-ray done in the first place? The age at which some small bones of the wrist fuse determine maturity of body vs actual age. So if bone age is 3.5yrs that’s stage of maturity of bone fusion. Usually there are 5carpal bones however u mention there are just 4carpal bones. This may manifest in some external difference of appearance of hand?
