4-5 calculi in gall bladder 6-7mm
I am 9 months postpartum, upon regular health check up I have been diagnosed with 4-5 stones in gall bladder of 6-7 mm size. There are no symptoms and rest lipid profile is normal. Only serum alkaline phosphate is 116 . Before pregnancy I did not have these stones. What should I do? I dont want to remove the gall bladder. Do asymptomatic gall stones formed postpartum get dissolved with medicines? Is surgery necessary?

There is no such medicines to dissolve gall bladder stone
Asymptomatic gall stones usually doesn’t require surgery
Since the size of stones are small .. they may slip to bile duct and cause symptoms which may complicate if not treated
So to be Ona safer side you may undergo surgery and gall bladder is just a store for bile and it’s removal doesn’t change any metabolism in body
