3 year old always ill,swollen lymph node

My 3 1/2 year old keeps getting ill and it wipes him out anything he gets and harldy eats but now he got swollen lymph nodes he also gets nights sweats going bk to drs in 10 days to see how they are then possibly to hospital for tests could you pleasetell me what tests would they be and to look for what?
