It could be a TIA. TIA (Transient ischemic attack) due to temporary blockage of blood supply to some area of the brain causing a temporary block in functioning of that part. The blockage could be due to several reasons. To prevent such blockage from happening again, the reason for the blockage needs to be found and treated. A thorough evaluation under supervision of a Neuro Specialist find out the reason - eg. High lipids, clot in the heart, clot in the neck etc. There are certain lifestyle modifications to prevent such attacks - Regular physical activity like brisk walking, Weight management, Stress reduction, etc can help.
