Hello, I understand your concern
Your baby is otherwise healthy, feeding well, gaining weight, and passing urine and stools regularly. The crying is very distressing, but this pattern is typical of infantile colic, which is common at this age and improves on its own with time.
Peak colic age is 6–8 weeks, and it can cause crying spells for >3 hours a day, typically in the evening.
It is common, benign, and self-limiting, usually improving by 3–4 months of age.
Next Steps
Ensure proper burping after each feed. Avoid overfeeding.
Carrying or baby-wearing, Gentle rocking, Tummy time when awake, Warm compress on the tummy, Soothing sounds (white noise, lullabies)
Colic drops (simethicone) help some, but not all.
Paracetamol is not indicated unless the baby has pain or fever. Colic drops (simethicone) help some, but not all.
