Baby is having a cough and phlegm for the past 3 days, we are giving a nebulizer daily 3 times and giving syrup as advised by the doctor. Problem is he is not having anything, if we try to feed him forcefully, he is spitting out. He is having hardly 50ml formula milk 3 times a day. Please advise what can be done in this case. Also please suggest food options which can be soothing.

When there is an acute illness Feeding patterns are disturbed and they tend to take less than usual. About 2-3 days After the illness subsides the appetite returns. Age of the baby is needed to suggest food options
