He replied that he is not doing the implantation procedure that I want. The sole purpose of my visit was to ask about the implantation and nothing else. Without informing me, he requested his assistant do a dental cleaning. I thought it would be a normal rate, and I did not object. After finishing the regular scaling, the assistant doctor told me that Dr. Barun ordered laser sterilization as well, and the doctor is on his way and requested me to wait. This was also against my wish, and he never explained to me the procedure, asked me whether I want laser sterilization, or told me how much it cost. The procedure was very painful, with a lot of anesthetic injections, and took about 30–45 minutes. Finally, he charged me Rs 35,000 for dental scaling and laser sterilization, ***** **** ******** ********* **** **** **** ** ******* He never explained to me what he was going to do or how much it would cost. Since I work abroad, ** ****** ********* *** I have medical insurance at my workplace, and I can do both of the procedures without paying any money.
