I’m 22 year old fitness enthusiast who’s done 3-4 years of gym and recently started to box which coincidentally helped me with my full body workout with strength agility mobility stamina . 4 months into the curriculum I realised I was very weak with respect to the above mentioned attributes of training, gymming for several years I couldn’t figure out or I missed the main point of overall strength, mobility, flexibility, etc are all more important than just building muscles even without proper warm up. I later got an injury which was an inflammation in my shoulder from a sparring game inside the ring due to lack of strength. ( I used to shoulder press 40kgs each in one hand ) but that’s not the point how overall strength is developed. We are not properly guided at all . More weights more reps doesn’t matter with strength , proper form of slow and composed movements with breath focus and concentration does. So I was suggested posture clinic by my coach , where I got a treatment to relax my stiff muscles which were extremely stiff and couldn’t flexibly make a simple movement due to lack of stretchings strength mobility training .

I was under treatment for a week followed by a 10 day physiotherapy that fixed my spine better than before , to completely recover 3 months is the timeline for a normal person suffering from irregular postures or any pains, the core reason behind my stiff muscles were my traps shoulder and neck . Again it was due to my lifestyle too, I come from a hardware background where I do all kinds of movements. On top my training method mattered . This was about my story. I had to pause and take rest for a month before resuming training again. The treatment seemed a lot expensive, 1 month of my treatment plus physiotherapy was equivalent to my 3 years of boxing membership fee( in which my issue costed the majority 70-80%) . But the irony is all the money invested was a huge knowledge on strength core overall health which is for lifetime . It’s absolutely worth it if you ask me if you want to be educated about your health and your body.

Before the physiotherapy , the doctor examines the spines of all patients and designs a customised physiotherapy plan based on the issues which focuses on corrections , strengthening, core strengthening and spine balance exercises with a mix of Pilates.

All I want to say is this is a great clinic to cure and also PREVENTION. You can just walk in and check with you spinal health. Don’t have to wait for an injury. Even if you don’t have an injury your spine my not be healthy. I whole heartedly thank Dr. Pooja Rai for treating me and helping me out .

I went to Dr. Pooja for consultation in Jan 2017. Discovered her clinic while going for a morning walk! I had hurt my neck while lifting furniture two years before, due to which I was not able to sit and work for more than an hour. I had gone to a couple of orthopedics doctors, but the medicine and the physiotherapy their in-house physiotherapists advised didn't resolve the pain. I was also not able to sit straight on a chair for more than 30 minutes. I used to recline on the chair most of the time. The neck pain wouldn't get better after a night's sleep either.

Dr. Pooja treated the neck pain with mobilization and TENS (ultrasonic vibrator) which loosened the muscle group around the neck and shoulders. She explained that the muscles form a knot around the hurt, which makes it hard to get rid of the pain with normal stretching exercises. It was a great relief to get rid of the neck pain.

She also diagnosed that the ab and leg muscles have become weak, which were causing my problem with sitting and posture. She advised 5 individual sessions and three months of physio therapy class. I continued the physiotherapy/pilates classes for another 4 months working on my legs and abs muscles. From Aug 17, Then I continued the exercises on my own at home.

It is Nov 17, and I continue to be pain free :)

Dr. Pooja explains the problem and the treatment clearly and guides us slowly into the treatment. She has an array of techniques that resolve the root of the problem. I would definitely recommend her.

I felt the class fees are a bit on the higher side (given the long term requirement of treatment in physiotherapy), but I guess that has to do with the expertise and also location she is in...

In the last two months of my physiotherapy classes, Dr. Anu (Anagha) also guided me on the exercises. She is also a good doctor and I have benefited from her advise as well.

Honestly, I am not posting this review about Posture Clinic lead by Dr Pooja and her amazing Team of passionate, professionally qualified physiotherapists, just to give them additional publicity. My intention is to help those who are looking for real healing touch through proven and time-tested practices of mind-body healing approaches.

On the day before I met Dr Pooja, I was little sceptical about the physiotherapy itself. I had Frozen Shoulder complications and my left hand movement had developed significant restrictions over a period of 6 months. Despite several efforts to regain my normal hand movement over a period of 6-months, I could not see light at the end of tunnel. It was a frustrating experience.

From Aug 2019 to Jan 2020, during the 6-months of uncertainty and increasing pain due to Frozen Shoulder problems, I had consulted couple of reputed Orthopaedic doctors and Physiotherapists. However to my dismay, their services did not make any difference and the frozen shoulder problem kept increasing.

In mid Feb 2020, I decided to do some web research and explore, if I can get some definite relief. That was when I landed on Posture Clinic and got to know about Dr Pooja and her simple Mind-Body healing approaches. Since I had no other choice, I decided to give it a try.

After a month and a half treatment and exercises, I can confidently vouch Yes, It was a good decision. I am happy that I met Dr Pooja and sincerely went through her treatment process. Results are amazing. I am almost cured and few days of simple exercises should make me 100% normal.
