Scared about infant botulism
My father in law gives swaranaprashan daily to my 3 months old which contains honey.I am scared infant botulism what should I do?

Hi Definitely Honey is not advisable and also Swarnaprashan or chyavanprash ..it is known to have heavy metals which is dangerous for the baby..and exclusive breastfeeding till 6 months ..Advisable not to even give water

Please stop it immediately. Its just not the honey, many ingredients in swarnaprashan are harmful for the baby’s liver and kidneys. Infants till 6 months should be fed only and only breastmilk/ formula or any medications as indicated only.
