My 5 yo daughter has 3-4 pubic hair
I have noticed 3-4 black and thick pubic hair in the private part of my 5 year old daughter. She has a lot of hair on her body since birth but the hair on her private part are comparatively thicker and curly.
I have checked her breasts are flat nipples are not developed either.
What should I do 😞

This is usually due to normal secretion of adrenal hormones happening slightly earlier and doesn't require therapy

If she shows other signs like acne, growth and bone age advancement, an enzyme deficiency may have to be ruled out. An endocrinologist may be able to check if she needs to be tested
