Period of gestation is calculated from your first day of last menstrual period . Beta hcg if doubles within 48hrs than chances of normal pregnancy

We calculate the duration of pregnancy either from the first day of the previous menstrual cycle (before you became pregnant) or from the sonography scan. Beta HCG, date of ovulation, date of sexual intercourse, all these are irrelevant.
