Know Your Doctor Dr Shrikant Jai started his medical career in 2004 from GMC Nagpur. His work in urology spans over 8 years with advanced training and academic degree from prestigious Muljibhai Patel Urology hospital, Nadiad. He has a keen interest in Reconstructive Urology hence he underwent focused training under Dr Sanjay Kulkarni in Pune and Dr Praydna Bendre at Wadia hospital Mumbai. His pursuit of complex genital reconstruction led him to an esteemed international institute Sava Memorial Hospital, Serbia, Belgrade. Dr Shrikant Jai has special interest in reconstructive surgeries of penis and urethra. Mostly these surgeries are of hypospadias (opening of penis is on the underside, rather on tip), Stricture Urethra (Narrowing of the urinary tube), Phimosis (tight foreskin, which cannot be pulled back over head of penis). He has successfully operated multiple pan-urethral strictures, failed and recurrent hypospadias. Other expertise includes Incontinence surgery (loss of bladder control), medical and penile implant for Impotence and infertility management. He runs a stone clinic which has helped many patients in complete clearance of kidney stone.
