I suffered from a prolapsed disk in my lower back earlier this year and for months consulted multiple Orthopedic surgeons and tried all treatment options from physical therapy to getting nerve blocks but nothing worked and I was left bed bound unable to move an inch without pain. That is when got introduced to Dr Rahul Rane. After talking to him, I immediately had a sense of convincing comfort and decided to undergo surgery for my back as recommended by him and as the last option having exhausted all other available avenues of treatment. By the time of my surgery, i was completely confined to my bed due to unbearable pain and forget walking, i could not even sit or stand for more than a minute even with support. I have been suffering from L4-L5 disc herniation and was prescribed loads of painkillers and given cruthes in UK, my surgery would be on 8 month's waiting list. So I decided to come to my motherland for treatment. I went to couple of doctors but they could not gain my confidence, I felt they were impractically expensive.

Then I met Dr Rahul Rane, he advised me that the best solution for all my pain was a Discactomy and assured me that his techniques of using endoscopy would mean minimum strain on my spine. He gave me proper explanations with pros and cons of going for this surgery; so that I could make an informed decision. After considering every aspect I decided to get my Discactomy done by Dr Rahul Rane.

It's been 14 days now for the surgery, I am recovering very well. As i was in very bad state with Lumbar Radiculopathy in right leg, it is taking some time to get back the complete sensation in my leg.

I have recovered almost 90% of what is experienced. If it was not for Dr Rahul Rane, I would still be suffering from that excruciating pain and agony. I am extremely thankful to him. I will be going back to UK in 2 weeks from now. Next 3 month's I have been advised to extremely cautious and careful.

It has been COVID times and he made sure that we were taken care of and anxieties of hospitalisation during COVID times were minimised.

My father is able to walk normally without any support. He is 84 years of age. His hip replacement was done by Dr. Rane.

My wife too has almost resumed her normal activities as her knee surgery was conducted two months back. Am sure she will be up to her normal being very soon.

Dr. Rane is unlike other Drs. He gives lot of personal attention, guides through the process and follows up with the patient for a proper healing process.

On top of it all, we have developed a personal bond with Dr. Rane. He no more is just a Dr. for us, he has become a family friend and the credit for this goes to him. We can reach out to him at any time of the day and he makes sure to resolve our concerns/issues at the first available opportunity.
