She completed her Graduation under the University of Calcutta and earned her M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology. She is currently a Ph.D. Scholar, contributing to advanced research in psychology. Alongside her academic journey, she serves as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at MAKAUT University, where she nurtures critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and psychological insight among her students.
Her professional training includes a Professional Diploma in Psychological Counselling from Jadavpur University, a Certificate in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Teenage and Relationship Counselling, and a B.Ed. in Special Education, reflecting her strong commitment to inclusive and evidence-based mental health practices.
Through the Mental Health Society, Namrata works extensively with school and college students, frontline workers, and corporate and office professionals, conducting mental health workshops focused on stress management, emotional resilience, burnout prevention, and psychological well-being.
