I had to book an online consultation through Practo because of my inability to contact the regular pediatrician. Dr Lakshmi was not only unfriendly but quite overbearing when he was asked questions. 'You are questioning a pediatrician' is what he said twice upon being asked if the medications might have a side effect. He didn't ask any questions related to teeting or didn't even ask if my baby had teeth but his finding was 'teething syndrome' and he attributed the loose motions to it. My intention is not to question his knowledge because I wouldn't have consulted him if I were eager to use my own judgement about the medicines. However, as a mother of an infant I was right in asking my doubts. He refused to give any explanation whatsoever and was in a rush to cut the video call. For every doubt, he said he would write the prescription. I think I would now think twice before opting online consultation via Practo.
