He was one of the very few in the World who was given CCST in Psychiatry by Royal College of Psychiatrists (UK) without being required to undergo any further training in the UK making him eligible to be placed on General Medical Council (UK) Specialist Register. He worked as Consultant Psychiatrist at St Bartholomew's Hospital, UK for over Ten Years. He was actively involved in academic activities at Maudsley Hospital, London and was also Honorary Senior Lecturer at Kings College, London.
