Dr. Meeta Nanda is a Masters in Physiotherapy (MPT) from Dr. D.Y. Pati…read morel university, Mumbai which she completed in the year 2011. She also did her Bachelors in Physiotherapy (BPT) from the same institute in the year 2007.
Dr. Nanda has been practicing for over 7 years and specializes in the mobilization of the spine, knees, and other peripheral joints.
She is one of the few physical therapists in the country who had completed a course from McKenzie institute international (MII) to become a certified McKenzie Therapist-Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) - a world-renowned treatment protocol for effective treatment of patients with back, neck and extremities disorders.
She is also a certified Mulligan Practitioner (CMP) – a unique concept developed by internationally acclaimed physiotherapist Brian Mulligan for the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries.
Dr. Nanda is also a certified Dry Needling Therapist. Dry needling is a very successful medical treatment which uses very thin needles without any medication (a dry needle ) to achieve its aim. It is used to treat pain and dysfunction caused by muscle problems, sinus trouble, and headaches.
She holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Modified Chiropractic and Osteopathy techniques -Advanced Postural Biomechanical Correction (APBC Technique) from the Godrum-IACOPT School, United Kingdom.
She is a member of the Indian Association of Physiotherapists (MIAP). She has also undergone training programs on exercise testing and prescription training in 2011, fitness-on field assessment and training in 2009, training in the treatment of dysfunctions in the pelvic complex in 2008 and soft tissue injury and clinical sports physiotherapy in 2007.
Prior to joining us, she was working in Physical Therapy clinic (with Dr. Bela Sethi) in Gurgaon and as a lecture at MGM College of Physiotherapy, Navi Mumbai.read less
