I took my uncle for an emergency checkup, he complained of severe pain in his chest. He was feeling ill, but had been walking and performing all physical activities (did not collapse or required stretcher like a case of sever heart attack). The doctors informed that the patient had a severe heart attack, and required immediate admission which included immediate ventilator. ** **** ******** ** ** *** * ******* *** **** ******* *** **** ****** ********** ** ** *** **** ********** *** ***** ** **** **** ** **** *********
Upon admission, the team informed the patient is critical and had three arteries blocked, 100%, 100%, and 70%. Then Dr. Singhania, who was the lead and performed angiography, informed us that a stent will increase the survival. The stent failed, the patient couldn’t maintain BP, the BP fluctuated 100/60, then continued to drop to 90/30. Eventually, the patient developed incessant fever, 102-104degrees. *** ****** ***** *** ******** *** ***** ****** *** Although the Dr. was asking consent for taking the patient for CT Scan and MRI, we denied because the patient was not stable and on removing ventilator he could collapse, Then Dr. agreed to our concern. The patient was deteriorating and the team could not perform any further steps, so we could not shift to another hospital.
Overall, through our experience, We found Dr. Singhania to be rude and arrogant. We took third opinion from other doctors to help in the medical condition, Dr. Singhania was not all cooperating. I would like to quote exact words of the doctor ‘Ap phone pe baatien kar lijiye’.
We are aware that all doctors try to help the patients in best capacity and many times it depends on the patient's body to respond to the medications, but we found that Dr. Singhania cannot properly communicate with the patients’ family, he was not able to explain us the condition of the patient. In the last days, he decided not to face us, and sent his subordinates to give us information.
From our experience, Dr. Singhania is very rude, unfriendly and non-cooperative, you may not want to visit him.Read less
