This patient came with a big file of previous prescriptions which l went through which are relevant and explained everything in detail and wrote the prescription along with the diagnosis. But she was more interested in the name of the Disease she was suffering from rather than the treatment. If the previous doctor had given the right treatment and if l also prescribed similar medications it's not my fault. She was asking the same question again and again as if she was testing me rather than getting treatment for her problem. I didn't shout at her and l don't shout on any of my patients but told her that if she is not satisfied I can't help.l can treat her disease the way it should be treated.

I would like to tell you that he is one of the senior most Dermatologist in Delhi and one who is well respected amongst his patients and his colleagues for his clinical acumen and treatments. He is infact regarded as a person who makes the diagnosis very quickly and in matter of seconds! This aspect of his clinical acumen helps him cure and treat hundreds of patients daily! Mam, sometimes during treatments one has to have regular follow ups for assessing how the patient's skin behaves with medicines. Each individual is different and that is why there are individual based treatments. For regular assessment of treatment however, there is no other means of follow up, other than patient visiting again to the clinic. In the follow up, depending upon the status of disease/problem, we may or may not need to change the treatment. Probably, your skin was doing well and Dr Gupta, didn't think appropriate to change the treatment plan! Hope you understand.
