Hello Doctors Good Afternoon. Pls advise what does it mean to be correlated clinically in an asymptomatic patient ... Chest x-ray says.. No findings.. CT scan says no findings. But it's written there to be correlated clinically.. It was a part of health check up done routine. Thnx

Hi... since your chest X-ray & CT scan is normal, nothing to worry... All investigations like xray, CT scan, Ultrasound scan, MRI ... have a General protocol in the end telling.. To Correlate Clinically...
Next Steps
Nothing to worry...it’s a general statement in all reports..

If the both X-ray and CT scan are normal then there is nothing to worry about. It is a part of protocol to write correlate clinically which the radiologists write as they are sometimes unaware about the patients history.
Next Steps
Regular health check up

Hello, in medical examination of a patient...clinical examination is the most important aspect...radiological examination alone cannot confirm the diagnosis...it only supports a clinical examination finding..hence it is always mentioned correlate clinically

If chest x ray and CT scan comes normal then his lower respiratory tract(lungs) is normal.. so rule out URTI... Treat if any infection is there.. If not he is normal
Next Steps
If its URTI he has to take medicines for that, drink warm water, salt water gurgling
