My Grandmother had diabetic foot on the left leg and had to undergo amputation last year. She is developing similar wounds in her right leg. She has history of blood clots and is taking medicines to minimize that. Which Speciality doctor should we consult for this problem. Furthermore what scans should we take for her wound.

You will need to consult a Diabetologist with minimum qualifications as MBBS, MD and DM. Before going to the Diabetologist , get her both legs Doppler scan or Doppler study done and also her ECG done. Hope this helps.
