Hi My doc prescribed Inderal LA 40 mg tablet once every night since December 2022 for anxiety symptoms I'm taking it every night since then. Since my anxiety is improving with CBT from my office and medication I've asked my doctor to reduce Inderal LA dose so that I don't get any reaction to other medicines for my ears as they're ringing since a week So he prescribed me Inderal LA 20 mg now every night once. after checking pulse rate which was at 71 BPM and BP was around 132/76 He asked me to follow up after 7 days I've heard from Google and other sites it causes withdrawal symptoms So will I get withdrawal if I reduce the dose from 40mg to 20mg ?

Inderal belongs to beta blockers, which should not be stopped abruptly,rather taper the dose gradually before stopping it . Accordingly your doctor has reduced the dose to 20 mg .You will not have any withdrawal effect on reducing the dose.
