My 1 month child was suffering from cough and Dr prescribed wikoryl af but she is not hungry and sleeping for more then 7 hours is it normal

1mo old babies sleep upto12-16hrs a day, altogether. Is she sleeping cont for 7hrs?? As already told, all cold n cough med will cause sleepiness, so you can use alternate med like Nasoclear nasal drops
