Hello Dr. I have widely test in 1 st month of pregnancy . Result is positive s typhi o 1:80. I am suffering from cough and sore throat. Had fever last night. My doctor gave these medicines 1 parasafe 3 times a day 2 zedocef az 2 times a day 3 phensedyl lr 3 times 2 tbsp. These medicines will not hurt my pregnancy. Pls reply

We usually avoid any unnecessary medicines in first 3 months of pregnancy. Your illness seems to ne a common cold for which u don’t need antibiotics. It will subside on its own in 3-5 days. You only need paracetamol and warm saline gargles for it. Also your widal test is normal. Don’t worry about it.
