Both are polysulfone dialyzers but differ in surface area and flux. F6 is smaller and low-flux, suited for smaller or hemodynamically unstable patients. B14P has higher surface area for larger patients needing more efficient clearance. The nephrologist chooses based on your weight, blood flow, and lab values.
