I am a 41 year old male. I am pain in right side chest lower part almost where liver is there. It is because of pyogenic liver abscess. But I do not know how did I get this condition? What can be the cause of progenic liver abscess and also this pain in body?

A liver abscess is a pus-filled mass inside the liver. Common causes are abdominal conditions such as appendicitis or diverticulitis due to haematogenous spread through the portal vein. This can be due to amoebic infection. a abscess size more than 5 cms may require usg guided aspiration / lap assisted drainage. Feel free to ask any further information regarding this
