Weight Issues Wife -Stressful Marriage

2021-11-07 18:14:58
I'm married since 3.5 years n been in an emotionally and physically draining relationship. We have tried but never had proper sexual intercourse which is a different issue all-together. This issue is different. Whenever by any chance someone in my direct family tells her she's gained weight or has lost weight she gets very upset n crying n shows low self esteem. The other person who has nothing in mind or has no intentions of hurting says it as a general comment or without pin pointing at anyone but she feels whenever that topic comes up its her they are targeting. I have explained it to her many times but she just doesn't understand. For eg - if my dad or mom makes a general comment about how most ppl who gain weight tend to have weak bones and have heart deceases so it's good to do brisk walking or jogging without targeting her or mentioning her..she feels it's about her and then that leads to a huge fight. I'm fed up of marriage and life. Please help if you can!

I feel it is important not to get overly obsessed and overly carried away with just the physical aspect. There is more to beauty than just the physical appearance. You are also a complete person, and a woman should have an identity beyond just the way she looks. Katrina Kaif

Sometimes due to different concerns and triggers, person is not able to loose weight, in that case counsellor and psychologist helps.
