Raise of hcg alone means its a growing pregnancy .. It wud mean nothg unless u also tell me d samples were tested between what intervals..if its 48hrs apart..it usu suggests an early good pregnancy.. Probably uve  just got a delayed ovulation n a resultant delayed implantation..
Next Steps
if no symptoms like pain or bleeding then wait for a WK ..repeat beta hcg ..if its above 1500 get a scan done.. in case of bleeding or pain see ur doc immediately
