After brain hemorrhage or stroke variety of speech and voice problems can develop. Speech problems include dysarthria where there will be difficulty in articulating speech. Aphasia where there will be complete loss of speech though vocal cords are normal. These two are brain related problems and treatment is speech therapy. Person can also develop vocal cord paralysis after brain hemorrhage and this will lead to hoarseness of voice.
