I am 5 months pregnant and been suffering from cold flu since a week now. Just had cetrizene 5mg a couple of times but been trying to battle with natural home remedies. Was getting ok by day 5 but the throat went for a toss and coughing started severely. Now slightly better but still struggle with coughs. Keep taking steam which relieves for a while and then cough attacks start again. Difficult to go to sleep in this condition. What cough syrups are safe for pregnant women and will that help?
