Hello doctor, My friend had period before 12 days​. Today morning she is experiencing vaginal bleeding. She even has muscle cramp. She didn't had any sexual intercourse or masturbation. She even has swelled up gums when woke up. Can you please explain the reason behind it. Thanks in advance.

Did she take any medicines recently. Emergency pills can cause this type of bleeding. Gum swelling is unrelated. It could be an allergy or viral illness. Have her see a gynaecologist right away
