In India stray dogs are not vaccinated. As a dog lover I usually feed dogs every other day. After moving to a new place I started feeding a new dog and patted him. He started playing with me everyday.I even gave him a name and he responded to it. 12 days back while returning after feeding him he tried to grab my leg softly using his teeth from behind playfully. After reaching home I noticed small scratch​ with as usual a little bump.There was no blood and I don t think any skin was broken.I was complete ignorant and thought this to be nothing as the dog didn't​ have any warning signs.I only washed it with soap. Since 1 week I am unable to find him anymore.This made me a little concerned and then I started reading on the internet .And now I m completely terrified about this as maybe the dog has died of rabies.Can I take vaccination now to not get rabies?or is it too late? If not late then what kind of treatment should I take ? I have taken one anti tetanus shot 2 months back.please help
