UTI and spotting

Two days ago I woke up and started experiencing a really sharp pelvic pain and went I noticed that I was also bleeding, like spotting it was bright red I thought maybe my period came early but the pain was so bad I ended up passing out for a minute and my parents took me to the ER. At the ER they ran some tests gave me an ultrasound and said I had a UTI but I wasn't really exhibiting any of those symptoms besides the pelvic pain. I didn't feel like I constantly had to pee and I didn't feel any pain when I did or see any blood mixed in. I'm taking antibiotics now but I noticed that I'm still bleeding but it's like dark brown/old blood. So is it normal that I'm bleeding? Is that from the UTI?

Your complain suggest some UTERINE factor or cause to let you bleed with severe pain in abdomen. Though UTI cause pain when you pass a renal calculus or concretion with Concentrated urine , it can also make you feel frequent urge for urination, burning sensation on passing urine. But here pain in abdomen associated bleeding  per vaginum also.
Next Steps
1. In your case  I need to see ULTRASOUND REPORT. 2. AND URINE EXAMINATION REPORT. 3. Your obstetric history is missing also.
