Well gym will not affect the uterus..its an internal organ..gym will help the muscles...secondly if you want to explore options for weight loss you can try practicing yoga,aerobics, zumba dance or brisk walking ,jogging daily...do not worry it will not affect or harm your pregnancy..you can also try diet plans along with exercise for effective results
