My doctor has told be to get a usg pelvis done to detect pregnancy age but i have read that only ultrasound can detect age of pregnancy...Can usg pelvis detect 5 weeks pregnancy?

5 weeks will show only simple sac in uterus. It needs minimum 6 weeks to see heartbeat., that too transvaginal Sonography.
