My 4 month old son had Pyloplasty surgery for left UPJ Obstruction when he was 2 months old. His AP diameter of renal pelvis before surgery was 33mm. Two months post surgery Ultrasound reveals that , his AP diameter of renal pelvis is now 18mm. Could you please confirm if this Surgery is successful? I am worried since diameter is still 18mm.

Post surgery it takes time for Dilatation of pelvic calyceal system to resolve Post surgery important thing is absence of UTI Gain of weight In renal scan drainage of contrast is important thing
