Unexplained bruising on inner thigh

I woke up this morning with bruises on my inner thighs. I don't engage in any strenuous physical activity and they aren't painful to the touch. I do tend to sit akward at work with one foot under my leg but I don't think it would be enough pressure to cause such severe purple bruising.
